Hello!!

I’m Katie. I am a photographer and producer from Canterbury, Kent.

I photograph delicious food for brands, restaurants, and social media - anything from campaigns to everyday content that needs a bit of sparkle. I am a big believer in storytelling, connecting with people and chasing those natural, in-the-moment scenes that feel honest and alive.

I also shoot lifestyle and outdoor spaces - restaurants, holiday lets, retreats, gardens, and all the gorgeous corners that deserve to be seen at their best. I’m always looking for natural moments and the way light moves through a space, because being outside really matters to me. I love the emotion of outdoor environments - the rawness of now, the softness of natural light, and the little lifestyle details that bring a place to life.

In my spare time I am often found outside walking with my two gorgeous golden retrievers and my husband. Sounds a bit obvious being a food photographer but I’m also a big foodie (shock horror) but my go to meal will always be a giant bowl of humble mac and cheese.

A bit more about me…

PRODUCING

A passionate producer who has a drive to make films that tell emotive and compelling stories using strong visuals. Filmmaking is a collaborative process and for me, that is the only way good stories get told. My job is to bring together fantastic teams who all believe in a shared goal to create a brilliant piece of work.

I have over 7 years of freelance experience from hands-on producing and occasionally directing various multi-award winning narrative short films to producing music promos and branded content for many brands and clients (P&O, Robinson’s, MSD, Sanofi, Disney and Pandora) to name but a few.

Recent short films are A Different Place (a BFI funded short film) which recently screened at BFI Flare 2023 and Tin Luck, starring Samuel Adewunmi, supported by Pundersons Garden’sOne Stop Films and Kodak, directed by Beatrix Blaise and competed for Best UK Film at Academy Award & BAFTA Accredited Raindance Film Festival. Other recent films include Natives, directed by Siofra Campbell and starring Zoë Tapper, Andrew Brooke, Thomas Coombes, Clint Dyer and James Hillier.

I love the outside and working outdoors being surrounded by nature. If you have a shoot that you want shaped by nature, requiring natural, earthy and where land and food imagery may meet, I would love to chat further. Furthermore, I also do inside location/studio work too.
